Cats & Dogs I took a photo of my cat and colored directly on top of it. I was trying out a new realistic style to see how it would look. I like the way it turned out! This little tortie is just having fun sitting and watching some young griffins chattering in the branches. I call this picture “Fantasy Packs.” These are a handful of the dogs my mom and I have walked at the shelter over the past few years. Super fun to draw! This dragon’s name is Betty. She is very protective of her cat, so you better not mess with either of them! Four cats that my mom and I interacted with at our local animal shelter (all on different days). The two older cats are training the two kittens the ways of being warriors! My cat is cute so I decided to draw a collage of her. 🙂 (the patterns aren’t even repeated correctly but I’m going to pretend it’s the same cat). I was listening to some cool fantasy music and imagined her going on all kinds of epic adventures! She’s lazy and terrified of everything, though, so that wouldn’t ever happen. But it’s fun to dream 😀 Look at this cute little kitty warrior! The lion in the background is the kitten’s spiritual mentor 🙂 This is my uncle’s cat, Sugar Bear. She’s very friendly and has an affinity for hats…and in a fantasy universe, wands. I’m sure she would have a lot of fun playing with the wand’s sparkles. This is my aunt’s dog, Lucy. She’s adorable, hyper, and very easy to exercise (just throw a ball across the backyard and she’s good). And just for the heck of it she’s standing on a rainbow wearing queen-like clothing. It must be her Halloween costume. Isn’t this a handsome warrior dog? I had a lot of fun drawing all the details for his armor. Hinka, the four-eared rainbow colored cat, is a character I developed in middle school. Here he’s hanging out with his friends Crysutterfly (the butterfly) and Firecoon (a winged mouse called a “Kikacoon”). The grass is purple because it reflects the color of the purple sky. These are my two cousin’s border collies I helped walk a couple months ago. Absolutely adorable dogs, but they’re way to high energy for me to ever consider taking care of any myself. Look at this colorful rainbow pack of dogs! Each of them has their own unique element (fire, wind, ice, electricity, protect, and cure) which contributes to the pack’s ability to survive in the wild 🙂 My mom and I have been volunteering at our local animal shelter for years now. We have taken quite a few photos and I decided to take some of them and create some fantasy pictures of the adorable animals we interacted with! 🙂 In this one, a few dog and cat mages are just hanging out near the water. The different colors of their clothing indicates the type of magic they control. Hinka the four-eared rainbow colored cat is a character I came up with as a child. I’ve been drawing him for more than 15 years now and the last version was back in 2015. I decided I needed an updated picture so here it is! 🙂 This is a little bit different style than I normally do. It’s a cat from the shelter just hanging out in space. Because…why not? Cats are cute and space is awesome!
